I started making handcrafted glycerin soaps in 2004 to help pay for my People to People trips to China and Antarctica. In August 2005, I began to sell on the Internet using an eBay store. In late 2006, I also began selling at Etsy.com, a handmade crafts marketplace similar to eBay. In June 2007, I got my own domain finally and opened this store.
Over the years I have done many different types of crafts, but handcrafted glycerin soap has always been my favorite thing to make. That is why most of my items are my soap, but it is because of the many other things I have sold in my stores with the soap that has made the name be Kj's Crafts and not Kj's Soaps.
All my soaps are made using the Melt and Pour method of soapmaking using glycerin soap. The soaps are scented with Melt and Pour safe fragrance oils. All soaps also have the option of being unscented. The soaps are colored with soap coloring liquid.
About Me
I graduated from college in 2007 at the age of 19 with a Bachelors in History. I love to travel and visited all seven continents before I turned 18. My favorite place in the world is Antarctica. I am hoping to go back there one day and write a children's book series called, Postcards from Antarctica. My other interests include bowling, photography, and playing Nintendo video games.
